Audience

·          System operators

·          System programmers

·          System analysts

·          System administrators

·          Users participating in HP Integrity NonStop server

·          operations and/or administration

 

Prerequisites

·          NonStop S-series Server Administration I (U5448S)

or

·          NonStop S-series Server Administration II (U5449S)

or

·          At least 6 months working experience on NonStop server operational and/or administration activities

 

Course Objective

At the conclusion of this course you should be able to:

·          Be familiar with the HP Integrity NonStop BladeSystem server architecture

·          Describe the NB50000c configurations

·          Describe the c7000 enclosure

·          Describe the NS2000 configurations

·          Describe the NS2000 Versatile I/O (VIO) module

·          Describe common elements of the NB50000c and the NS2000 servers

·          Give examples of using the SCF utility on the NonStop BladeSystem servers

·          Give examples of using the new CLIMCMD command

·          Describe changes to OSM

·          Describe migrating applications to the J-release
